Cupcakes for Gracie and Emma

There are two very cute little girls turning four very soon and this is their birthday cards :-) I love this cupcake stamp, found on page 38 of the NEW Spring/Summer Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog, item number 111546 $17.95. And if you view it, you will notice that I completely took the entire stamp set and made it "my own" :-)

I also loaded on the glitter, used my crimper and puffed up some liquid applique', all found in the back of the catalog under accessories!

Shadow Box

I received this gift from my friend Corey for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it! She used decorative paper and vinyl rub-ons to create it. You can see more of her work by checking out her blog, Create Creatively located to the right of the screen.

I will always remember the love and friendship that went into this gift, every time I walk in my door and see it.

Why is it, we never make these gorgeous gifts for ourselves? Oh, that's right, because we love making our friends and family happier :-)

Valentine Cupcake!

My friend Corey sent me this idea through another blog and I just had to try it. I'm using it for my stamp club project exchange tomorrow night. I hope the girls like it :-)
It is a cake mix inside a decorated box, with frosting to "match" :-)

I made PLENTY of mistakes on it, but for my first try, I think it went fine and turned out cute. I'm adding a package of candy hearts in the front pocket, but still need to pick them up.

There are so many possibilities for this idea, that it is endless :-)

Valentine Club

I'm sorry to anyone that actually looks at my blog that it has taken me so long to update. I have not sat down at my craft table since before Christmas, until today! Here are three projects my stamp club ladies will be making on Monday.

The pixie sticks are not new, as I did them for Christmas, but our club ended up being cancelled, so I turned them into Valentine treats.

The card is a "secrect message" card, using bashful blue ink, red cellophane and a brayer with Real red ink. You put the red cello over the message and it shows through.

The Olive You bag is for my husband and all of the other husband's that just do not get into the pink and red spirit ;-) I used Crystal Effects to make the Olive look real and added red glitter for a "girly" touch!
