October 2009

These are the three projects that I will be teaching my club members to make. The Reindeer food is made using the sweet treat cups from the Holiday Mini catalog. The snowflake box was created by Angie Juda-Kennedy.

Candy Dish

This was one of my first projects I learned how to make, when I started stamping. It is so much fun to make now that Stampin' Up sells the quick and easy rub-on's.

Peppermint Patty Batty

This is a bat that my oldest son and I created using only punches from Stampin' Up!
We used the Scallop Circle, Photo Corners, 1/2 inch Circle, Boho Blossoms and a hand held hole punch.
Sandwiched between the two Scallop Circles is a peppermint patty.

Back To School

I made this cute little scrapbook album for a project exchange in stamp club. The binder is what my son made for class, using the new Pirate stamp set. I think he did a great job and it looks so "boy-cool" for an eight year old!

August Stamp Club Projects

We will be making a treat bag, filled with a home-made Witch's hat cookie, a Top Note box...can not get enough of these and the Boo card I showed you earlier.

Boo to you!

This is a card my club members will be making on Monday night. I combined two designs from the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog...you should be receiving them in your mailbox within weeks :-)

This Little Boo stamp is one of the single stamps Stampin' Up is offering in the NEW 2009/2010 Idea Book and Catalog for less than $7.00! It is just the right size to make tags with and all our circle punches coordinate well with it.

More images to come in the next few days!

Triple the Thanksgiving

I am SLOWLY getting each one of my friends an altered canvas piece of their children. This on is for my friend Jenn.

It was hard creating something with a masculine look to it, but I think it worked out.

Michelle's Baby Gift, YEE HAW :-)

I made this for a friend in California that is expecting a baby boy this Fall. I think the inspiration came from the cute little Gymboree boots I found. I hope she likes it.

I haven't done a paint can in a long time and really miss doing them. I love the before and after of a simple re-creation of the can. Who knew they could become a treasured gift?

50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY GIFT

I had a bunch of Stampin' Up! Rub on's to use up and I knew the perfect thing to use them on. This red metal tub that made the perfect gift for my Aunt and Uncle's 50th. I did spray it with a clear sealer, so the images don't rub off if they are bumped. The wine glasses are also hand painted by my Aunt Judy.

I used the Big Shot to make the card as well...love the embossing folders.

JULY STAMP CLUB

I AM TRULY LOVING THE NEW INCOLORS FROM STAMPIN' UP AND HAVE UTELIZED THEM IN THIS MONTHS CLUB PROJECTS. I HAVE ALSO GOTTEN OUT ALL MY STAMPIN' UP PUNCHES AND RE-CREATED A CUTE DRESS THAT ANY GIRL WOULD LOVE TO PUT ON, WITH JUST A FEW PUNCHES OF THE PAPER!

New Tall Tales!

I had these two containers sitting around, just waiting to be recycled.

Finally, had the perfect idea for them:

Wrapped them in the new Tall Tales Designer Paper and stamped the names of the recipients on the ribbon with Craft Ink. They are both filled with cute t-shirts!

New catalogs are HERE!

Here is a look at the NEW Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.

The new book ROCKS :-)

To get your very own catalog, please drop me a note, or order on-line at my Stampin' Up site!

May Club Projects

The card was a CASE from Chicken Scratch, you can find the link to that blog on the right of my favorite blogs.
The bag was another pattern I found on-line and think it is just adorable, especially when you use the Build a Brad.
The matchbox is the new die from the mini catalog, available until June 30th. I especially like using the window sheets for the cover and applying the rub-on's to make it something special.

Chalk Board Diva

I couldn't resist purchasing two of these wooden cut out dolls and making them into a great decor' item for my stamp room. This one is my "project exchange" for stamp club :-)

I painted her with chalk board paint and then Diva'd her up with double sided paper and "bling"!

Scrapbook Card

Finally, back from a fabulous vacation in the sunny Caribbean and since I have nothing new to upload at this time, I figured I would show you another April project we made at club.
This scrapbook card was a feature in my Stampin' Success Magazine. Although it was listed with the wrong dimensions, I finally figured it out for my club ladies to try in April!

April Club Projects!

I created two of my three projects today for stamp club. Mother's Day and Spring come to mind as April goes by.

The card uses the Inspired By Nature, double mounted, stamp set for the current Stampin' Up Catalog. It is a stamp set that will be very versatile and I can't wait to create more projects with it.

The Yummy box was created by using the Sizzix Box #2 :-) This is another project that can be turned into nearly any party favor, thank you gift or seasonal treat!

Easter Egg Box!

I made these boxes with my Stamp Club Ladies on Monday night. They turned out so cute! You can find the pattern here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329234

They are a bit time consuming to make and measurements are to the 1/16 on a few of the pieces, but I think they are worth the extra time!

True Friend

FINALLY getting around to trying out the New InColor Pacific Point. I really like this color with the Sahara Sand, that I do not use enough. Enjoy!

Easter Surprise

Here is one of the projects my stamp club ladies will be making on Monday night. Isn't it just cute? The card uses just one piece of cardstock for the back and one for the front that is "hinged" to reveal a "secret message" to the recipient!

This is the first time I used the texture templates for my Big Shot and so far, I LOVE them! I used the large dot one for the bottom half of this card.

I finally got out my watercolor crayons to color in the stamped image. And the ribbon is the certainly celery polly twill 5/8" that I received along with a 10 yards of So Saffron from the Sale A Bration catalog for FREE, when I placed a $50.00 order last month. To earn yours, contact me before March 31st 2009!

Simple, but Beautiful Card

This card was made using the Poppin' Pastel Technique. It is simple but elegant and would make a great gift box of cards for anyone!

I love the NEW Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. It is double mounted, which is a little hard to get used to, but I'm catching on.

Unfortunately, I just got around to using the felt ribbon from the Holiday Mini catalog and Ijust LOVE IT, but now it is unavailable to purchase. I learned my lesson...use accessories right away so you can always stock up before it is too late.

VALENTINE GIFTS

My very talented friend Corey made these bracelets for my three sister in law's for Valentine's Day. She uses old pieces of jewlery and buttons to re-create something new and sparkly :-)

I used the Big Shot and envelope die to create the gift box and made a simple 3x3 card to place on top as the "cover". If you have not scene the new crocheted flowers from the Stampin' Up Spring/Summer catalog, they are gorgeous and a must to have!

Bekah's First Card!

This card was a big surprise in a package I received in the mail. It was sent from my friend Rebekah in TX. She is a crafty lady, but had not tried her hand at stamping, well I think she did an awesome job! She was able to use the BIG SHOT die cut, heat embossing gun and the all new TEXTURE TEMPLATES :-)

A box is not JUST a box...

For stamp club on Monday, our challenge was to make sure our project exchange has embellishments on it. Well, my husband received a box of chocolates and I knew what I wanted to re-create :-) Here is my "refurbished" chocolate box and the insert makes the perfect storage unit for "bling".

I had fun using my new die cut butterflies. I think I will be using them for a lot of things!

Ghiradelli Box

I found these on Splitcoaststampers and couldn't wait to try making them myself. How cute are these? They will hold four chocolate squares. These are for my boys' teachers and bus driver. I hope they like them...almost too cute to open!
